I copy and paste the info from cpanel into outlook and it never works, is there a setting in cpanel that i need to change? I have tried POP, IMAP using SSL/TLS it just gives me the error Unable to log in, i have tired outlook on my phone and desktop same results.

Any ideas?

Thanks
I think I'm having the same issue...still testing.

I tried a different e-mail client and it says "can not connect to the server" so i just remembered that my name servers are set to cloud flare. I wonder if that is the issue and if so how do i fix it in cloud flare.

For now i just put back in my web host name servers to see if it fixes the issue.

Cloudflare is not a concern, unless you proxied the POP/IMAP hostname

Yeah make sure you don't have your mail server running through the Cloudflare CDN, turn off the proxy for it and you should be good to go.
Also the MX records should have the Proxy turned off as well.

1) ensure you use mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain) as the server, port 993, SSL/TLS for security type, and normal password for authentication.

2) in cloudflare, make sure your MX records point to the correct mail server, have a record for your mail address pointing to the correct IP address of your mail server, and set the proxy status for your mail-related DNS records to "DNS only" in Cloudflare, as Cloudflare does not proxy email traffic by default.
